We very well understand that our clients are very sensitive to social and environmental issues and to build and sustain brands, people’s love and trust; one must focus—not only on today but also on tomorrow.

We, at Destinos, do understand that the environmental impact of sustained visits to any destination is predictable; therefore we do take all the possible steps to minimize the impact to minimum.
We also understand that the profitable growth of our company depends on the economic, environmental, and social sustainability of our communities around us. And we know it is in our best interests to contribute to the sustainability of those communities.
In all our programmes we try to:
- minimises negative economic, environmental and social impacts;
- generate greater economic benefits for local people and enhances the well-being of host communities with improved working conditions.
- involve local people in decisions that affect their lives and life changes
- make positive contributions to the conservation of natural and cultural heritage
- provide more enjoyable experiences to our guests through more meaningful connections with local people and greater understanding of local cultural, social and environmental issues;
- provide access for people with disabilities and the disadvantaged
As an added value to all our trips we offer you the possibility to partake in a community development project. Our projects are mainly along 3 lines, namely the environment, health and education.
Once the logistical and financial viability of the project is established, the actions are launched in order to ensure that everything goes according to plan on the day of the actual operation in the presence and with the help of those willing to take part.
